Rob Weiner, Ph.D. is a writer, teacher, consultant, and performer.
He is creator and producer of Leonardo Live and has performed it across the country.

Rob holds degrees from Johns Hopkins University, Georgetown University, Yale University, and the University of Cologne, where he received his Ph.D.

He was founder and Editor of Global Digest International News Services, Research Editor for Sutro and Co., Lecturer at California State University, Sonoma, Coordinator of Liberal Studies at Saint Mary’s College of California, and Chair of Liberal Arts at John F. Kennedy University.

In addition to Leonardo Live, Rob has published news articles and commentary, translations, poetry, a film guide, business research reports, scholarly articles, a work on political theory, and the book, Creativity and Beyond: Cultures Values and Change (SUNY Press, 2000).

For 25 years, Rob has led courses and public workshops on an unusually wide range of subjects – on Leonardo, as well as on technology, art, politics, literature, adolescence, religion, the human body, creativity and invention, public speaking, multiculturalism, globalism, and more -- for traditional aged college students, adult learners, retirees, and business managers.

Rob has also lived and traveled abroad for several years, worked a wide range
of jobs, and has been involved in a number of international and community organizations.

This unusual breadth of experience and in-depth work on creativity made it natural for Rob to create Leonardo Live: A Visit With Leonardo da Vinci.

Rob lives with his family in San Francisco Bay Area.
